People and places that are filled with life inspire me. And now, with a long career behind me, I have the luxury of time to feel inspired anytime, anywhere.
Inspiration often comes along trails that I hike and from land that I know and love. I am particularly intrigued by the shapes, textures and lines created when things are left to grow naturally and without restriction.
I find tremendous spirit in nature and strive to illustrate this spirit and to show a sense of each image reaching its full potential. Before I sign a canvas, the intimate conversation I have enjoyed with each image must feel complete.
